"Roads, Rail, Ready." That's the phrase being used by the Economic Development Office to sell the job ready site in Auglaize County. The 476 acre parcel of land is located just south of Wapakoneta, on County Road 25A.
The location of the site is the biggest selling point, as it is within ten miles of the interstate. It is also a one day drive to 50 percent of the US population, and 60 percent of manufacturing companies.
The site is getting attention from potential businesses, but a deal has yet to be reached. New businesses are coming to the area, but the job ready site just won't sell. Several businesses are expressing interest, including one from China, one from Asia, and one from Germany.
If a deal is reached with the job ready site, upwards of 1,000 jobs could be added to the area.
